Petra & David

Building a new home wasn’t something that either of us were looking forward to, having built previously with another builder. There were vivid bad memories that kept us thinking ‘why are we doing this’. However to achieve the home that we wanted on the block of land that we had chosen, we knew we didn’t have too many options. On a recommendation from a friend we contacted the boys from Jamar and asked if they would be happy to listen to our ideas and meet us for a site inspection before we signed up for the block of land. After that first initial contact we both felt very comfortable with the professionalism and good old fashioned service that we were greeted with. First impressions are lasting impressions. From that point the rest is history. We settled on the design and price, signed the contract, discussed a completion date and the wheels were in motion. Being new to the district and still living 700kms away it was a bit of a worry how things were going to progress. Our minds were soon put at ease though when we received weekly updates with photos on the progress of our new home and that was the case right through the build.Like most people, working from a plan is not always as easy as it looks and there were things that we wanted changed when the structure became a reality. Nothing was too much trouble for Rhys and the team at Jamar. They were happy to accommodate any changes and involved us in the build from start to finish. In summary we couldn’t be happier with the end result and the service and professionalism we encountered through the entire project.
